Spring Photography Tour Vietnam

NOTE: ITINERARY MAY BE CHANGED FOR THE BETTER EXPERIENCE IF ANY

DAY 1 - 27 JAN 2026: HANOI ARRIVAL

Welcome to the Spring Photography Tour Vietnam organized by An Bui, this tour will focus on Ha Giang photo tour and Cao Bang photo tour.

I will pick you up at the Hanoi Airport, transfer to a hotel and relax after a long flight to Vietnam.

You can arrive in Hanoi on any flight schedule time on this day, or you can arrive a few days before the trip to explore the city, then join with us on this day. Hanoi is one of the big and modern cities in Vietnam, you can find good travel service here. Moreover, there are many international ATM or money exchanges as well as card accepting in most of the restaurants or shops in the city center. Relax to prepare for our trip soon to begin the next day.

DAY 2 - 28 JAN 2026: HANOI

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning enjoys photography with the handicraft village of making fishing traps (Model setup for photography). The local house of making fishing traps is located inside a small village, we need to walk around 500 meters to get there going through a small alley. Mostly only the elderly work this handicraft job during their free time, not many young people continue with this handicraft anymore. Similar to other handicraft villages in Vietnam, due to modern life, lots of handicraft villages will soon ruin and disappear.

DAY 3 - 29 JAN 2026: HANOI / HA GIANG

Breakfast at the hotel.

Today is the beginning of the adventure photography tour to the north rural of Vietnam. We will have time in the morning to prepare our stuff before going to the mountainous area for example warm clothes, cake or candy for children as a gift in the rural area.

Late morning transfer to Ha Giang with 6 hours of driving.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon arrive Ha Giang city.

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight at a hotel in Ha Giang.

DAY 4 - 30 JAN 2026: HA GIANG / DONG VAN 

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning transfer to Dong Van with 4 hours of driving, and most of the interesting scenery is on the way from Ha Giang to Dong Van.

Photo stops at Bac Sum Slope, Quan Ba Heaven Gate.

Morning visit the Hmong village of weaving linen in the traditional way (Model setup for photography).

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon visit a village of HMong people with beautiful flowers surrounding the small village (Model setup for photography).

Enjoy sunset photography at Tham Ma Slope.

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight at a hotel in Dong Van.

DAY 5 - 31 JAN 2026: DONG VAN

Enjoy sunrise photography at Ma Pi Leng Pass.

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning visit the remote and charming Hmong village in Dong Van. We need to walk about 1 km to get to the village (Model setup for photography).

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon visit the Vuong Palace of Dong Van, one of the best architecture in the rocky mountain Dong Van (Model setup for photography).

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight at a hotel in Dong Van.

DAY 6 - 1 FEB 2026: DONG VAN / BAO LAC

Enjoy sunrise photography at Ma Pi Leng Pass (again with a different view).

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning explore the people and cultures of the village of LoLo people (Model setup for photography).

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon transfer to Bao Lac with 3 hours of driving.

Enjoy photo stops on the way with the landscape of Ma Pi Leng Pass, Nho Que River, Meo Vac.

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight at a hotel in Bao Lac.

DAY 7 - 2 FEB 2026: BAO LAC / CAO BANG

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning transfer to Cao Bang with 3.5 hours of driving. 

Conquer the Khau Coc Cha pass with 15 sharp turns on the way.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon transfer to enjoy landscape photography of the God’s Eyes Mountain.

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight at a hotel in Cao Bang.

DAY 8 - 3 FEB 2026: CAO BANG / BAN GIOC

Breakfast at a hotel.

Morning transfer to visit the minority village of Dao Tien People (Model setup for photography). The village is located remote in the mountainous area, there are only 25 houses of Dao Tien People living separately, they still remain the original way of life for a long time ago.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon transfer to Ban Gioc with 4 hours of driving.

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight at a hotel in Ban Gioc.

DAY 9 - 4 FEB 2026: BAN GIOC

Early in the morning transfer to the amazing countryside landscape area to enjoy the view of the sunrise. If luckily, we will have mist or clouds surrounding the mountains, it should be a great moment for photography in Cao Bang. The village is surrounded by the very beautiful color of Quay Son River. This is a very rural village of the minority Tay People. People here mainly do agriculture, especially rice.

Enjoy morning photography with the fishermen in the river (Model setup for photography).

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon enjoy photography of the greatest Ban Gioc Waterfall, this is one of the best waterfalls in Vietnam.

Then transfer to visit a minority village and enjoy afternoon shooting with the minority in Cao Bang (Model setup for photography).

Enjoy sunset photography with the nice view of the Cao Bang landscape.

Overnight at a hotel in Ban Gioc.

DAY 10 - 5 FEB 2026: BAN GIOC / LANG SON

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning transfer to visit the minority village of Nùng An People features with the craft village of 100 year old to making the incense by the traditional method.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon transfer to Lang Son with 5 hours of driving.

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight at a hotel in Lang Son.

DAY 11 - 6 FEB 2026: LANG SON / HANOI

Breakfast at a hotel.

Morning transfer to Hanoi with 3 hours of driving.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon visit Hanoi city center with the Train Street and Hoan Kiem Lake.

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight at a hotel in Hanoi.

DAY 12 - 7 FEB 2026: HANOI / DEPARTURES  

Breakfast at the hotel.

Free at leisure until time transfer to the airport for your next destination. 

End of service.
