Spring Vietnam Workshop Photography Tour

NOTE: ITINERARY MAY BE CHANGED FOR THE BETTER EXPERIENCE IF ANY

DAY 1 - 15 FEB 2027: HANOI ARRIVAL

Welcome to the Spring Photography Tour Vietnam organized by An Bui, this tour will focus on the Ha Giang photo tour and Cao Bang photo tour.

I will pick you up at the Hanoi Airport, transfer to a hotel and relax after a long flight to Vietnam.

You can arrive in Hanoi on any flight scheduled time on this day, or you can arrive a few days before the trip to explore the city, then join with us on this day. Hanoi is one of the big and modern cities in Vietnam, you can find good travel service here. Moreover, there are many international ATM or money exchanges as well as card accepting in most of the restaurants or shops in the city center. Relax to prepare for our trip soon to begin the next day.

DAY 2 - 16 FEB 2027: HANOI / HA GIANG

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning transfer to Ha Giang with 6 hours of driving.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon arrive Ha Giang city.

Afternoon visit the Tay minority village in Ha Giang.

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight at a hotel in Ha Giang.

DAY 3 - 17 FEB 2027: HA GIANG / DONG VAN 

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning transfer to Dong Van with 4 hours of driving, and most of the interesting scenery is on the way from Ha Giang to Dong Van.

Photostops at Bac Sum Slope, Quan Ba Heaven Gate.

Visit the Hmong village where we weave linen in the traditional way.

Lunch at a local restaurant. 

Afternoon visit a local village of HMong people with beautiful flowers surrounding the small village.

Enjoy sunset photography at Tham Ma slope. Tripod needed for this shooting. We may arrive at the hotel in Dong Van around 20h.

Dinner at a hotel restaurant.

Overnight at a hotel in Dong Van.

DAY 4 - 18 FEB 2027: DONG VAN

Morning enjoys sunrise photography at Ma Pi Leng Pass.

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning visit to the remote and charming Hmong village in Dong Van. We need to walk about 1-2 km to get to the village. This village is quiet and charming, and less touristy. 

Back hotel for lunch and resting.

Afternoons transfer to Meo Vac to enjoy photography with the view of Nho Que river.

Then enjoy sunset photography at another sunset view of Dong Van.

Dinner at a local restaurant. 

Overnight at a hotel in Dong Van. 

DAY 5 - 19 FEB 2027 (FRIDAY): DONG VAN

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning transfer to visit the weekly minority market on Friday.

Then transfer to explore the people and cultures of the village of LoLo minority people.

Lunch at the local restaurant.

Afternoon, transfer to visit the other remote and charming Hmong village in Dong Van. We need to walk about 2 km to get to the village. 

Dinner at a local restaurant. 

Overnight at a hotel in Dong Van. 

DAY 6 - 20 FEB 2027 (SATURDAY): DONG VAN / CAO BANG

Early morning transfer to visit the weekly minority market on Saturday.

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning transfer to Cao Bang with 7 hours of driving.

Lunch at a local restaurant on the way.

Afternoons enjoy the photo stop on the way during the blossom season of the peach, pear flowers at Xuan Truong valley.

Arrives in Cao Bang in the late afternoon.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at a hotel in Cao Bang. 

DAY 7 - 21 FEB 2027: CAO BANG

Breakfast at a hotel.

Morning transfer to visit the minority village of Dao Tien People (Model setup for photography). The village is located remote in the mountainous area, there are only 25 houses of Dao Tien People living separately, they still remain the original way of life for a long time ago.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon transfer to enjoy landscape photography of the God’s Eyes Mountain.

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight at a hotel in Cao Bang.

DAY 8 - 22 FEB 2027: CAO BANG / BAN GIOC

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning transfer to visit the minority village of Nung An people (Candid and setup for photography).

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Enjoy afternoon photography with the fishermen with the fishing net and bamboo raft on the river (Setup for photography).

Continued transfer to Ban Gioc with 1 hour of driving.

Dinner at a hotel restaurant.
Overnight at a hotel in Ban Gioc.

DAY 9 - 23 FEB 2027: BAN GIOC / HANOI

Early in the morning transfer to the amazing countryside landscape area to enjoy the view of the sunrise with 2 hours of driving. If luckily, we will have mist or clouds surrounding the mountains, it should be a great moment for photography in Cao Bang. The village is surrounded by the very beautiful color of Quay Son River. This is a very rural village of the minority Tay People. People here mainly do agriculture, especially rice.

Enjoy morning photography with the fishermen in the river (Model setup for photography).

Breakfast at a local restaurant.

Then enjoy photography of the greatest Ban Gioc Waterfall, this is one of the best waterfalls in Vietnam.

Morning transfer to Hanoi with 6 hours of driving.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Arrive Hanoi in the late afternoon.

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight at a hotel in Hanoi.

DAY 10 - 24 FEB 2027: HANOI / DEPARTURES  

Breakfast at the hotel.

Free at leisure until time transfer to the airport for your next destination. 

End of service.
