Yok Don Bird Photo Tour

BUON MA THUOT CITY / YOK DON NATIONAL PARK / BUON MA THUOT CITY

5 AM Welcome for photography tour at Yok Don National Park, I will be at your hotel in Buon Ma Thuot city, then we depart from your hotel to Yok Don national park with 1 hour of driving by car.

Breakfast box you should ask and collect from your hotel, then you can use later.

6 AM, arrive the Yok Don national park, quick breakfast at the national park reception and prepare to go enter to the forest by our car.

As schedule, we will go to the location of the bird nest first, waiting adult birds come back to feeding their baby, sometime we use bird sounds to call them back.

Otherwise, by lucky, if we can see birds on the way, we will stop for photography.

10 AM, back to the reception of the national park for resting. During the period of Jan o April, the dry season of the area, it is very hot, it is better for resting during this period, and save energy for effectively afternoon shooting.

12h Lunch at the restaurant of national park.

Then resting at the rooms in the national park.

14h30 Depart continue with bird photography in Yok Don national park. 

17h30 When the natural light is too dark for photography, we will transfer back to your hotel in Buon Ma Thuot City with 1 hour of driving.

Yok Don National Park is a Vietnam’s biggest and most biodiverse protected area. It is 115,000 hectares of dry deciduous forest. Declared a national park in 1992, Yok Don is home to more than 200 bird species. Best time to visit is from December to April during the dry season.

Bird photography in Yok Don National Park, Dak Lak we will have the support of the local ranger to find bird during hiking in the forest of Yokdon. The walking distance is short to find the birds, because we have a vehicle to travel around the Yokdon National Park. The good chance for bird photography in Yokdon is this dry season, mostly the leaves are falling down, we will have more chance to discover and enjoy bird photography with the birds in the trees.

Experience bird photography with our car inside the Yok Don National Park, that should be a nice experience with a bit comfortable to use our car to go inside the national park for photography. When we have tired, we can get enter to the car easily and also less walking distance to the shooting point.
