Dong Nai Bird Photo Tour 2 Day

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY / DONG NAI

Early morning I will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Depart for Dong Nai Birds Photo Tour. Depend on actual situation, I will suggest you destination in Dong Nai for our photo tour. There are some destinations in Dong Nai suitable for bird photography or wildlife photography such as Nam Cat Tien, Ma Da and Thac Mai. And it takes about 2 to 4 hours of driving to get each of these places.

• To Ma Da Forest: 2 hours of driving
• To Thac Mai Forest: 3 hours of driving
• To Nam Cat Tien Forest: 4 hours of driving 

With the support of local ranger or birder, we will enjoy photography or watching wildlife in the forest.

Experience photography at the forest of Dong Nai.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner with basic Vietnamese food.

Overnight at homestay in Dong Nai.

DAY 2: DONG NAI / HO CHI MINH CITY

Enjoy full day photography at the forest of Dong Nai for bird photography.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner with basic Vietnamese food.

Back to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon

End of service.

In Dong Nai especially Nam Cat Tien National Park is one of the most important protected areas in Indochina as it harbors a number of Indochinese endemics, many of which are largely restricted to Vietnam. Nam Cat Tien has an area of about 720 km2 and protects one of the largest areas of lowland tropical forests left in Vietnam. Since 2011. Surrounding Nam Cat Tien are also having nice environment for birds such as Ma Da and Thac Mai.

Bird photography in Dong Nai we are mainly enjoy from the bird sites (bird hide or bird blind), with the support of local people who manage the sites, the chance to have nice bird photos are higher as well as the distance of photographer to the birds are closer that will help you have more chance to have a quality image. There are several bird sites in some different places in Dong Nai. Depend on the weather and actual situation then I will choose the best available bird sites for us.
