Itinerary

DAY 1 - 19 NOV 2026: HANOI ARRIVAL
Welcome to the Vietnam Cultural Photography Tour organized by An Bui. This tour will focus on Saigon Photo Tour, Mekong Photo Tour, Hanoi Photo Tour and Ha Giang Photo Tour.
I will pick you up at the Hanoi International Airport, transfer to a hotel and relax after a long flight to Vietnam.
You can arrive in Hanoi on any flight schedule time on this day, or you can arrive a few days before the trip to explore the city, then join with us on this day. Hanoi is the second biggest and modern city in Vietnam, you can find good travel service here. Moreover, there are many international ATM or money exchanges as well as card accepting in most of the restaurants or shops in the city center. Relax to prepare for our trip soon to begin the next day.

DAY 2 - 20 NOV 2026: HANOI / HA GIANG
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning visit Duong Lam ancient village with 2 hours of driving. Enjoy photography with the elderly in the old house of Duong Lam (Model setup for photography)
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon transfer to Ha Giang with 5 hours of driving.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at a hotel in Ha Giang.
DAY 3 - 21 NOV 2026: HA GIANG / DONG VAN
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning transfer to Dong Van with 4 hours of driving, and most of the interesting scenery is on the way from Ha Giang to Dong Van.
Photo stops at Bac Sum Slope, Quan Ba Heaven Gate.
Morning visit the Hmong village of weaving linen in the traditional way (Model setup for photography).
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon visit a village of H'Mong people with beautiful flowers surrounding the small village. Enjoy photography with Hmong children with flowers (Model setup for photography).
Enjoy sunset photography at Tham Ma Slope. It would be nice with photography of long exposure for the car light on the streets of the hills.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at a hotel in Dong Van.
DAY 4 - 22 NOV 2026 (SUNDAY): DONG VAN
Breakfast at the hotel.
Early morning, enjoy visiting the weekly market of minority people in Dong Van.
Morning visit the remote and charming Hmong village in Dong Van. We need to walk about 1 km to get to the village. This rural village is nice, quiet and charming. Enjoy photography with Hmong people at the ancient house (Model setup for photography).
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon explore the people and cultures of the village of LoLo people with 1.5 hours of driving (Model setup for photography).
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at a hotel in Dong Van.
DAY 5 - 23 NOV 2026: DONG VAN / CAO BANG
Enjoy sunrise photography at Ma Pi Leng Pass with the view of Nho Que river.
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning transfer to Cao Bang city with 7 hours of driving
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Photo stop on the way with natural landscape.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at a hotel in Cao Bang City.
DAY 6 - 24 NOV 2026: CAO BANG / BAN GIOC
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning transfer to the Dao Tien minority people village for photography with 2 hours of driving (Model setup for photography).
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon visit and enjoy photography at a local minority village of Nung An People.
Then enjoy sunset photography of the landscape of God's eye mountain .
Dinner at local restaurant
Overnight at a hotel in Ban Gioc.
DAY 7 - 25 NOV 2026: BAN GIOC
Early in the morning we will go to Phong Nam village to enjoy the view of the sunrise. If luckily, we will have mist or clouds surrounding the mountains, it should be a great moment for photography in Cao Bang. The village is surrounded by the very beautiful color of the Quay Son River. Phong Nam is a very rural village of the minority people. People here mainly do agriculture, especially rice.
Enjoy photography with the fishermen in the river.

Morning enjoy landscape photography of Ban Gioc waterfall.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon visit minority village and enjoy afternoon shooting with the minority in Cao Bang (Model setup for photography).
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at a hotel in Ban Gioc.
DAY 8 - 26 NOV 2026: BAN GIOC / HANOI
Enjoy sunrise photography with the nice landscape view of Cao Bang. Depending on the group fitness and actual weather conditions, I will suggest ideal shooting activities this morning.
Back to the hotel for breakfast.
Morning transfer to Hanoi with 7 hours of driving.
Lunch and Dinner at a local restaurant.
Afternoon enjoy photography at the soya factory near Hanoi.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at a hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 9 - 27 NOV 2026: HANOI
Breakfast at a hotel.
Morning visit the incense village near Hanoi.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon enjoy photography of lady in Ao Dai traditional dress in Hanoi.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at a hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 10 - 28 NOV 2026: HANOI / MOC CHAU
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning transfer to Moc Chau with 5 hours of driving.
Photo stop at White Rock Pass on the way.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon visit and enjoy photography at the Persimmon garden in Moc Chau with local minority people (Model setup for photography).
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at an ecolodge in Moc Chau.
DAY 11 - 29 NOV 2026: MOC CHAU / HANOI
Breakfast at the ecolodge.
Morning, visit the tea hill of Moc Chau for photography with local minority people at the tea hill (Model setup for photography).
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon transfer to Hanoi with 5 hours of driving.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at a hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 12 - 30 NOV 2026: HANOI / DEPARTURE
Breakfast at a hotel.
Morning transfer to the airport for your next destination. End of service.

- Lens focal ideal from 24-200 mm.
- Mostly the weather is hot, around 25 to 30 c degrees.
- Prepare warm cloth for northern hills, sometimes it is about 10 c degrees with humidity.
