Vietnam Cultural Workshop Photography Tour

NOTE: ITINERARY MAY BE CHANGED FOR THE BETTER EXPERIENCE IF ANY

DAY 1 - 19 NOV 2026: HANOI ARRIVAL

Welcome to the Vietnam Cultural Photography Tour organized by An Bui. This tour will focus on Saigon Photo Tour, Mekong Photo Tour, Hanoi Photo Tour and Ha Giang Photo Tour.

I will pick you up at the Hanoi International Airport, transfer to a hotel and relax after a long flight to Vietnam.

You can arrive in Hanoi on any flight schedule time on this day, or you can arrive a few days before the trip to explore the city, then join with us on this day. Hanoi is the second biggest and modern city in Vietnam, you can find good travel service here. Moreover, there are many international ATM or money exchanges as well as card accepting in most of the restaurants or shops in the city center. Relax to prepare for our trip soon to begin the next day.

DAY 2 - 20 NOV 2026: HANOI / HA GIANG

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning visit Duong Lam ancient village with 2 hours of driving. Enjoy photography with the elderly in the old house of Duong Lam (Model setup for photography)

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon transfer to Ha Giang with 5 hours of driving.

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight at a hotel in Ha Giang.

DAY 3 - 21 NOV 2026: HA GIANG / DONG VAN

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning transfer to Dong Van with 4 hours of driving, and most of the interesting scenery is on the way from Ha Giang to Dong Van.

Photo stops at Bac Sum Slope, Quan Ba Heaven Gate.

Morning visit the Hmong village of weaving linen in the traditional way (Model setup for photography).

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon visit a village of H'Mong people with beautiful flowers surrounding the small village. Enjoy photography with Hmong children with flowers (Model setup for photography).

Enjoy sunset photography at Tham Ma Slope. It would be nice with photography of long exposure for the car light on the streets of the hills.

Overnight at a hotel in Dong Van.

DAY 4 - 22 NOV 2026 (SUNDAY): DONG VAN

Early morning, enjoy visiting the weekly market of minority people in Dong Van.

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning visit the remote and charming Hmong village in Dong Van. We need to walk about 1 km to get to the village. This rural village is nice, quiet and charming. Enjoy photography with Hmong people at the ancient house (Model setup for photography).

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon visit the Vuong Palace of Dong Van, one of the best architecture in the rocky mountain Dong Van. Enjoy photography with the Hmong people at the Vuong Palace (Model setup for photography).

Late afternoon explore the people and cultures of the village of LoLo people (Model setup for photography).

DAY 5 - 23 NOV 2026: DONG VAN / CAO BANG

Enjoy sunrise photography at Ma Pi Leng Pass with the view of Nho Que river.

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning transfer to Cao Bang city with 6.5 hours of driving

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Photo stops with a nice landscape view on the way.

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight at a hotel in Cao Bang City.

DAY 6 - 24 NOV 2026: CAO BANG / LANG SON

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning transfer to Nguyen Binh with 2 hours of driving.

Enjoy photography with the Dao Tien minority people village (Model setup for photography)

Back to Cao Bang for lunch.

Afternoon transfer to Lang Son within 3.5 hours of driving.

Dinner at local restaurant

Overnight at a hotel in Lang Son.

DAY 7 - 25 NOV 2026: LANG SON  / HANOI / HO CHI MINH

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning transfer to Hanoi airport with 3 hours of driving.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon have a short flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

Dinner at local restaurant

Overnight at a hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 8 - 26 NOV 2026: HO CHI MINH / RACH GIA

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning visits the temple and enjoy the Ao Dai Photo Tour with the lady in traditional Vietnamese dress of Vietnam in the temple (Model setup for photography). Ao Dai is the traditional costume in Vietnam, and the people normally wear ao dai in the most important festivals in Vietnam such as Tet Holidays or their wedding day. Photography with a lady in ao dai is suitable in the location of a temple, pagoda or a place with ancient architecture due to it being a native culture of Vietnamese people. We will photograph the model wearing the ao dai in Ho Chi Minh City, with the support of our local photographer for her posing.

Afternoon transfer to Rach Gia with 5 hours of driving.

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight at a hotel in Rach Gia.

DAY 9 - 27 NOV 2026: RACH GIA / CAN THO

Breakfast at a hotel.

Morning enjoys photography with drying fish in Rach Gia (Setup for photography). A long time ago, Rach Gia was very famous for making dried fish, now there are some factories of drying fish. With the sun and shadow the photo of drying fish is really nice.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon transfer to Can Tho with 3 hours of driving.

Enjoy afternoon photography at the handicraft villages near Can Tho (Model set up for photography)

DAY 10 - 28 NOV 2026: CAN THO / HO CHI MINH CITY

Breakfast at the hotel.

Afternoon transfer to Ho Chi Minh City with 3 hours of driving.

Dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 11 - 29 NOV 2026: HO CHI MINH CITY / PHAN RANG

Breakfast at a hotel.

Morning transfer to Phan Rang with 5 hours of driving.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon enjoy photography at the sand dunes with the photography of a lady carrying the bamboo basket and children playing in the sand dunes (Model setup for photography).

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight at a hotel in Phan Rang.

DAY 12 - 30 NOV 2026: PHAN RANG

Enjoy morning photography at the seascape of Phan Rang with the fishermen during sunrise (Model setup for photography)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning visit the craft village of making pottery of the Cham People. Enjoy photography at the pottery village (Model setup for photography)

Lunch at the local restaurant.

Afternoon visit the sheep farm of Cham People, enjoy photography at the sheep farm in the late afternoon (Model setup for photography).

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight at a hotel in Phan Rang.

DAY 13 - 1 DEC 2026: PHAN RANG / HO CHI MINH

Enjoy morning photography at the sand dunes with the Cham minority people (Model setup for photography). One of the best places for art photography I think is the sand dunes in Phan Rang. This place has nice lightning year-round, less rain and the shape of the dunes is nice both the view on sunrise and sunset. With the best support of our local photographer, we will enjoy photography in the sand dunes with minority models walking in the sand. Before this was the place of minority people and they often walked through the dunes to the town and turned back home.

Back to the hotel for breakfast.

Morning transfer to Ho Chi Minh City with 6 hours of driving.

Afternoon visit the rice noodle factory, enjoy photography with local worker (Travel photography)

Overnight at a hotel in Phan Rang.

DAY 14 - 2 DEC 2026: HO CHI MINH /  DEPARTURE
