The average age is from 54 to 80, so my itinerary is light and no need too much fitness. But for 2 weeks travelling with sunrise and sunset many time, an average fitness is better to enjoy the photography more.  

Normally our shooting spots are close to the place our car can reach. Then normally we will have 1-3 km walking to get the shooting spot. If our itinerary need to walk in long distance, I will note in the detail photography itinerary. So, the ideal is every photo tour, I highly recommend you have a reliable hiking shoe for walking or climbing in the rock sometimes.  

All of the Vietnam photo tours I organized I will lead myself. Sometimes I will have support from professional photographers for arrangement and make the photo tour more valuable with the art of photography. 

You can go to Vietnam whole year to enjoy photography during your trip. This is detail information about photography season in Vietnam. The peak season for photography tour in Vietnam is Mar to Apr for all destination in Vietnam and Sep to Oct for northern Vietnam part. 

Yes, for your private photo tour, you can invite and bring them with your group. Whether they are family, friends, or other photographers. The ideal number of photography tour is from 4 - 8 people. But it will be welcome if you group is more than that. For more information, please email us at victorbuian@gmail.com. Sometimes I open joining tour for local photographer, I also welcome you to join our group, number of passengers around 6 to 10 people on my joining photo tour. 

My photo tour is mainly different and suitable for photographer or people love photography or people love to admire the beautiful landscape in the great time of lightning. So schedule and timing to transfer by car is very different to the normal tour for tourist, sometimes we need to depart at 4 am, and back to hotel at 22 pm, lunch and dinner depend on the actual situation of the location. But if you are just a normal tourist, you will explore and understand the joyful of photographer when they join in photo tour with us. 

Firstly, prepare as your normal tour but very light and convenient because sometimes we need to walk for 1 or 2 km outdoor. Secondly you need a set of cameras to capture the beautiful scene during your travel. For every long trip and special trip, I will send you detail information for your checklist. 

For long exposure photography a tripod is will be useful. Anything else is up to you and what you want to shoot from the tour. If you have a polarizer, ND filters or a flash you can bring them along. Depend on your photography set and your comfortable carrying, you can bring anything you want, and I suggest you bring them all. But please read our itinerary carefully to have more information about walking distance with camera or what to shoot each day to prepare suitable photography set. 

With our photo tour itinerary, the focal lens from 24 to 200 mm is very useful for the trip. However, you can bring your other stuff if available for you. 

A tripod is recommended for any of pho tours that operates at nighttime or early morning where we will shoot a type of long exposure photography or shooting with waterfall. 

If you only want to shoot by phone camera, it is also good, but it is good idea to have a new version of phone, so that you will have good quality of the picture. I can see most of travelers now shooting by phone camera with great photo. 

If availability permits it, we can flexibly change the shooting place to indoor photography or change our itinerary if any. 

All of our tours operate in English. Additionally, we are happy to offer the tours in the following languages. Please contact us before to have additional tour guide with your language with French, German, Italy and Chinese. 

 Yes, you can, and I suggest you enjoy model photoshoot in Ho Chi Minh city or in Hoi An and Hue these places are really nice for photography the ladies with Ao Dai.  

Ideally, if you have a basic knowledge of photography is good for photography tour. If not never mind, we will have quick guide for photography before the first visiting. To make sure you have good photo back to home. 

As I understand it, there are 2 types of photography tours. The one is an art photography tour, the tourist would like to shoot the stage photography, during the tour, I cooperate with local photographers, models, customs and background to do the art photography, trying to relive the old true story with the style of photography. Mostly we do it with the handicraft village, in the sand dunes, in the salt fields or portrait photography with the model as the elderly or lady in traditional dress of Vietnam

The other type of photography tour I can see most of Western photography like is the candid and travel photography tour, and the tour is mainly for landscape, visiting touristic places, visiting the local village without preschedule with the model, and we visit and enjoy shooting candid photography.

It depends on the destination where we visit, we will have all Vietnamese set menu and pre-arrangement by me. So, if you need any special meal, you can inform me, I will try my best to help you. 

Normally we will stay at standard 3-star hotel at the city or town. At the rural place we will stay at homestay near the shooting place with the basic travel service. However, you can request for high class hotel or accommodation to fit your request. Normally the hotel has private room with toilet and air conditioner. 

With the group size below to 6 guests, we will have a minivan for transportation, that is the private minivan for our group. The vehicle should be spacious for our long driving tour. Depend on the itinerary we will have other means of transportation to visit for example a taxi, a motorbike taxi, a ferry, a rowing boat or big boat.
